This 2-player GMless game almost certainly ends with one of the characters killing the other. It needs a set of polyhedral dice with an extra 2D6 (ideally, a set +2d6 for each player), three tokens of some sort, and printouts of the progress clock and crime trackers.
Inspired by the 1973 mafia epic Goncharov (or rather, by the more recent online coverage of the movie), it encourages the same type of intense character conflicts and negotiations as the source material. It's a very "yes-and" type of game. It works well with either a detailed collaborative planning session to establish characters and the setting… or something more like "Wei Wuxian and Vriska Serket run a pirate ship together."
It's important to take the time to reach consensus on the game details and to go carefully through Round 1 where the characters meet and get entangled. That sets the tone and pace of the game, whether that's "intense crime thriller" (as intended) or "zany heist capers with cartoon-ish deaths" (probably less intended; still very fun). Grab your favorite criminals and aim them at each other like pistols at high noon.
