Who hasn’t fantasised about being an over-the-top action hero at least once? Hardcore Badass fulfils that fantasy in this easy-to-pick-up-and-play TTRPG. I think the 4-page PDF gives GMs everything they need to build an absolutely wild action movie RPG experience with no prior knowledge of Role-play games required from the players. The system is simple: just two stats (hardcore & badass) which determine everything you are trying to do (the crazier, the better) there is no world design or pre-made adventure, which I think is a boon, allowing a huge amount of creative freedom which is sometimes lacking in predetermined settings.
The layout is simple and quick to read. I would give this game a rating of Hardcore Badass and recommend it for people new and old to role-play.
